The Freedom You Long For

Pastoral Care

This Eastertide series aims to explore how each of us can be enslaved by habitual sins, destructive thoughts and crippling behavioural patterns, rather than living out the freedom Christ offers through His victory on the cross. We believe that God is inviting you and I into fuller healing, deeper intimacy and greater fruitfulness in our apprenticeship to Jesus Christ. Through this series, if you have a need, please get in touch with your LifeGroup, your friends, your leader, a church staff member, whoever you can be comfortable sharing with.

CONFESSION SESSION

Scripture tells us, “If we confess our sins, he who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9) God has given us Christian fellowship to share burdens and sins. Confession is a spiritual practice which allows us to experience God’s grace and mercy and to express forgiveness and repentance to one another.

If you would like to share a confession, our staff are available to support you in a session for this purpose.

Contact Christine Indrali here to schedule a meeting a with suitable pastoral staff team member.

INNER HEALING MINISTRY

There may be deeper issues and pain to process before healing can take place. If you need someone to pray along with you and/or to provide basic inner healing ministry, please reach out to us.

SMALL GROUP SUPPORT

LifeGroups are for our intentional discipleship. They are a group of people who are committed to walk together in the way of Jesus — listen to others’ pains and doubts, journey with gracious patience and friendship, grieve and celebrate together. Please reach out to your LifeGroup Leader(s) if you need support.

If you are not yet a part of a LifeGroup, get connected here!

SPIRITUAL FRIENDSHIP

Reach out to your CORD group.
CORD stands for Confession, Others, Reading and Discernment. It is a way of cultivating spiritual friendship among three persons who commit to encourage, grow in God and do life together. Reach out to your CORD mates to share or discern God’s invitation to you as your response to a sermon/topic.

If you are not yet in a CORD but would like to, contact us here!

SPIRITUAL DIRECTION

Many people find it difficult to notice God in their daily lives. Yet deep down, we long for a more conscious sense of His love and presence. In spiritual accompaniment, with the help of a spiritual director, you are invited to reflect, recognise and respond to God’s presence, grace and work in your life. These are typically 45-60 minutes a session.
