MISSIONS

The City looks beyond our shores
to serve many beyond through our Missions Team.

We are involved in planting churches in Asia;
from Ilo Ilo, The Philippines to Yangon, Myanmar to the cities of India.

Regular mission teams are sent to our church plants throughout the year,
so don’t miss the opportunity to be part of the Asian transformation!

CAMBODIA :: DONATE | BLESS | PRAY

Posted on in Missions, The City News

A team from The City will be heading up to SavingMoses, Cambodia from 22 – 26 March; an organization that provides NightCare and protection for toddlers and babies of sex workers while their mothers work.

Here are a few ways you can be a part of the effort:

DONATE: The center needs lightweight blankets and toys appropriate for 2 – 5 year-olds (No soft toys or battery-operated toys). You can drop your donation at the church office on Level 5 or at Level 6 on Sunday. Please do so by 19 March.

BLESS: You can contribute a cash donation to help the team with their expenses. You can also make a donation to SavingMoses.

PRAY: Keep the team members and their families in prayer as they explore how our church can partner SavingMoses in reaching the littlest and most neglected in Cambodia.

 Contact Christine@thecity.sg if you have enquiries about the above-mentioned.

The City Yangon

We concluded the last session of the camp by praying for the baptism of the Holy Spirit and this was how we did it tonight. It lasted for a good 2 hours with both little ones to the oldest among us was being filled with the Holy Spirit. It ended with bodies on the floor rolling and laughing up here on the mountain and for many it was their first time experiencing the overflowing joy unspeakable.
