Luke 15:7 says “… there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents…”
福气的人团契 (Hok – Khi – E – Lang Fellowship) is joining heaven in rejoicing as we see the elderly from our outreach accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Never lose hope! His love reaches even to the oldest among us!
HKEL will be celebrating Parents’ Day and honouring the elderly on 23 May (Sat) at Pipit Road, 2pm – 4pm. Programmes includes a skit, praise dance item, delicious pot-makan and the Gospel message. Volunteers and sponsors for the event are welcome! Contact email@example.com for more info!
The City’s Hokkien-Chinese Church has been ministering to families in the Pipit Road area for the past year. They have seen an increase in residents going for the meeting for prayer and just to chit-chat and share what’s on their hearts.
If you have a desire to reach out to the heartland community, we invite you to join us. Contact Jenny Han at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out how you can be involved!
HKEL had a Parent’s Day event in collaboration with Love Aid Project on the 24th May at Blk 93 Pipit road. It was catered to the families that they have been visiting on a fortnightly basis. More than 25 elderly turned up and they had a great time enjoying the performances by the youths, karaoke by Mdm Chua (Pastor Daniel’s mother) and simple praise exercises by the leaders of HKEL.
The event was a success and they had 4 visitors from this event attending the following Sunday service. 3 of them received salvation on that very Sunday! Praise God for the leaders and helpers of HKEL!
